Susan Kennedy
Susan Kennedy was a writer from the beginning, a compulsive diary keeper first, then short stories and journalism. She fell in love with poetry in her early thirties and published her first poem "The Orgy," in the anthology, This is Women's Work, in 1974, and in 2004, at the age of sixty-two, her first solo book of poetry, Dancing with the Dog. She has been published in many literary journals and given readings throughout the Bay area.

"The deepest roots of my poetry are entangled in the sacred and the erotic. I seek an ongoing connection to the divine feminine and a healing reconnection to the divine masculine. My poetry is a record of the journey of my soul."
